Mike Daniels has been a member of the Blue Delta Advisory Board since 2009.

Mr. Daniels is the former Chairman of Network Solutions, the former Chairman & CEO of Mobile365, a former senior executive at SAIC, the founder & CEO of his own growth company and the former Chairman of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (largest technology council in the United States).

Mike helped make the modern Government Technology marketplace while at SAIC, where he served as a member of the senior management team (SVP and sector lead) from 1986-2004. During Mr. Daniels tenure at SAIC, the company grew revenues from $500 million to almost $10 billion. Mike joined SAIC when it acquired the company that he had founded and successfully grew.

While at SAIC, Mr. Daniels identified and acquired Network Solutions for $4.7 million in March 1995. He then led Network Solutions (NSI) through a successful IPO in 1997 and multiple follow-on offerings, including a $2.3 billion one in 2000, which is one of the largest equity offerings in the technology sector’s history. Mike ultimately sold Network Solutions to Verisign for $19.6 billion and that sale contributed $2.2 billion in cash to SAIC.

Mr. Daniels has also served as the Chairman & CEO of venture-backed Mobile365 and successfully sold it to Sybase for $417 million in cash. Once the sale closed, Mike joined the Sybase board of directors and during his tenure, Sybase was acquired by SAP for $5.8 billion.

Mike has also served on the board of directors for many successful companies including Acentia (acquired by Maximus), Apogen (acquired by QinetiQ), Initiate (acquired by IBM), GlobalLogic (acquired by Apax Partners) and many others.

Mr. Daniels has also served at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) of the U.S. Department of Defense, as a senior White House advisor on international technology and as a senior advisor to the National Security Council.

Mike currently sits on the board of directors of CACI (NYSE: CACI), LMI (the Logistics Management Institute) as Chairman, Blackberry (Nasdaq: BBRY), Mercury Computer Systems (NYSE: MRCY), and venture-backed Invincea as Chairman, as well as the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the Virginia Chamber of Commerce (past Chairman), and the Boy Scouts of America National Capital Area Council (past President and Chairman).

Mr. Daniels earned a J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law and both a Masters and a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
