Todd Stottlemyer has been a Venture Fellow at Blue Delta since 2015, having started with the firm as a member of the Advisory Board in 2009.

Todd currently serves as CEO of CNSI and as a member of the company’s Board of Directors, as well as Chairman Emeritus of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC).

Prior to joining CNSI, Todd served as an Executive Vice President and member of the executive leadership team for the Inova Health System and as CEO of the Inova Center for Personalized Health, where he was responsible for the Inova Schar Cancer Institute, the Inova Translational Medicine Institute, Inova’s research programs, the Inova Strategic Investment Initiative (venture fund), and the Inova Personalized Health Accelerator.

Prior to Inova, Todd served as the CEO of healthcare-focused IT company Acentia (backed by Snow Phipps and Blue Delta). During his tenure Todd grew the company to over 1,000 employees, $200 million in revenue, and with industry leading operating margins. In April 2015, Maximus (NYSE: MMS) acquired Acentia and Todd now serves on the board of directors for Maximus’ Federal Services division.

Before joining Acentia, Todd served as an EVP and member of the executive management team for the Inova Health System, a 17,000 employee healthcare organization serving the Washington, DC region. Todd’s areas of responsibility included information technology, innovation, biomedical engineering, international business, and other corporate functions such as leading the creation of the Inova Translational Medicine Institute.

Prior to Inova, Todd served as the CEO of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), leading the nation’s largest business association (over 350,000 small businesses across the U.S.)

Before NFIB, Todd was the Founder & CEO of Apogen Technologies, an information technology company (backed by Arlington Capital Partners). Todd built the company from concept to over $200 million in revenue before selling it to QinetiQ Group PLC (LON: QQ). During Todd’s tenure, Apogen was named as one of the top 50 best places to work in the Washington, D.C. area and as one of the top 20 best places to work in the New Orleans, LA area.

Todd has also served as CFO & CAO of BTG Inc. ($300M annual revenue publicly traded company acquired by Titan, now L-3) and as a Corporate VP at BDM International (multi-billion dollar firm backed by the Carlyle Group, taken public and acquired by TRW, now Northrop Grumman). Todd has served on or serves on the boards of ten technology companies and two publicly traded commercial banks.

Todd previously served as Rector (chair of the Board of Visitors) for his alma mater, The College of William & Mary, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree (Phi Beta Kappa). Todd also earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
